Painting Your Home Questions and Answers
This section was created to answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding the painting of your home. The Board wishes to maintain the Tustin Meadows community as a beautiful place to live.
I received a letter to paint my home, when do I have to paint it?
After your project is approved by the Architectural Committee, you will have 90 days to complete your painting project.
What colors can I use to paint my house?
The current approved color schemes are on the Sherwin Williams website. You can access the website from this link:
Do I need approval to paint my house the same original colors?
Yes. Submit the Architectural Application for Architectural Committee review so that the colors can be formally approved.
When do I need to submit an application?
An Architectural Application needs to be submitted and approved before starting any work. The Application is available here: Architectural Application

I painted my house before receiving Architectural Approval – now what?
Fill out the Architectural Application and submit it with samples of the colors used. The Architectural Committee will review and provide a decision as to whether or not the colors are complimentary to the community. Please be advised that if your colors are not approved, the Committee can request that you re-paint with approved colors.
What can I do if I have received a Hearing Notice to paint?
Plan on attending the Hearing to discuss your options for compliance. Also have a copy of the Architectural Application available to discuss any concerns you may have. regarding project completion.
