What’s New and Exciting at the Meadows?
Posted By cdeheras on March 13, 2023
Well a lot of changes and fun activities are in the works for the community this year. We will be holding a 4th of July planning meeting on March 27th. East clubhouse at 7:00 p.m. We would love to have more volunteers and your ideas on how to make this a great event for the community.
Centennial Park preliminary plans are going to be presented at the March 14 meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the West clubhouse. The City of Tustin and the architects will be presenting the plans to owners only. They will also answer questions. We do know that the project will possibly start in a year and will take 9 months to complete. It may be done in stages to minimize the down time. All updates will be posted in the resident portal under “NOTICES”.
Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 8 at the East clubhouse. We will have crafts and fun activities for the kids and of course the hunt. It will be a great time to take those spring photos. We may have a special guest come to share in some photos. Note your calendar and don’t miss this one if you have kids.
Community Wide Garage Sale is set for May 13 and we love to see everyone take advantage of getting rid of the unused items and pick up a few extra dollars. It is also a benefit for the buyers as they get to purchase items that is needed at a discount and not placed in the trash.
Take advantage of clearing out your home and yard by calling CR&R with large Item pickups. You can setup a pickup by calling 714-372-8272. A bulky item consists of up to 4 items per pick-up. The service is provided at no additional cost to single family residential customers. In addition, you may schedule a free pick-up of pure recyclable materials.
Dumpster Day- Yes I said DAY as we will have the ONE DAY to drop off your items in the dumpsters provided on Saturday May 20 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We will have the E-waste and shredding truck available from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. Please contact the events director to volunteer on Saturday. Please be advised that we do not accept items like those large item pickups. Please utilize the CR&R service for this. Tor Black eventsdirector@tustinmeadows.com
Hope you will enjoy all of these great events as they do not happen without you.
